Not Want to Lose From Silicon Valley giant, Toyota Establishes R & D Technology Robotics

World technology Companies are now competing to bring new innovations, and one of them is the technology of the automatic car that can drive itself without being controlled by humans. To achieve the realization of it, a Japanese automotive company, Toyota reportedly has spent billions of dollars to build a research center AI and robotic technology in Silicon Valley, California, USA.



As reported by the BBC Indonesia, Monday (11/09/2015), company from the land of the Rising Sun was set up R & D in Silicon Valley because they want to be in the forefront with leading technology in making cars that can drive themselves without human control. As we know, Japan itself is currently being intensively developed a robot with artificial intelligence technology is high.

Toyota President Akio Toyoda said the company will set up two research centers. The first research center will be near Stanford University. While the second research center will be established in the city of Cambridge, Massachusetts would be also next to the campus of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Robotic technology research firm if it were it would employ 200 people and will be operational in early 2016. The company also said that it planned to set up a research center is not because they are able to innovate, but because they have to innovate. Especially in the field of automotive technology which uses artificial intelligence.
