Nasa Develop Drones to Explore Mars
Washington - US space agency, NASA, reportedly developing unmanned aircraft that will be used to explore the surface of Mars. This is done to determine the condition of the planet is allowed into the cache of a man than on Earth.
This small autonomous helicopter is actually a drone equipped with a camera lens landscape enabled to get information planets. The project itself is claimed to be getting more information than previous robotic explorers.
As reported by the Mirror, Tuesday (01/27/2015), NASA scientists have to use instruments to get a landscape of Mars Curiosity, making it possible to avoid a hard rock surface run with ordinary robot.
Jep NASA Propulsion Laboratory, drones name to be assigned to Mars is expected to be able to escape lye and landed smoothly on a daily mission of approximately half a mile. Unfortunately, the use of helicopters is still constrained by the level of the atmosphere of Mars.
Mentioned by the scientists, the level of which is owned by Mars atmosphere is 100 times larger than Earth. So as to be able to fly these drones needed a strong propeller to generate lift that big.
